As we move deeper into fall and closer to the winter months, I thought I would spotlight Turmeric essential oil in this post...I think you will fall in love with this oil — excuse the pun!
Ok so I am going to try not and boast here, but seriously one of the best ways I have prevented our house from becoming a magnet for all the common bugs that our kids seem to bring home from school during winter is by making sure I boost our immune systems in the fall.
Prevention is the better approach for us Moms, I think you’ll agree.
It’s important to strengthen our immune system and there are many ways to do that…for example cutting out unhealthy food that causes inflammation in our bodies and replace it rather with food that is filled with essential fats, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to support our body…
Turmeric is one of those and doTERRA now has it in essential oil form which is totally amazing. You’ve probably used this spice many times in your life and is essentially the spice that gives curry that yellow color.
In fact Turmeric has been used in traditional Ayurvedic health practices in India for centuries and that has inspired modern uses of turmeric today.
When Turmeric was released I was beyond excited and I’ll share with you how I am using it in our own home…
Right now I am focusing on eliminating sugar and blood sugar balancing (by the way you can watch my short video here on other ways we are using Turmeric and other oils to reduce inflammation and help with blood sugar and sugar cravings).
Because I have recently been seeing a new nutritionist and we are focusing on cleansing my body of toxins, Turmeric essential oil has been a great addition to this protocol as it is great for liver cleansing.
My blood sugar has been dropping in a positive way, I feel amazing and I have more energy — which is what every Mom needs!
It’s a natural solution for temporary relief of pain without placing any stress on your liver like other modern day options. I also combine Turmeric essential oils with Copaiba and Yarrow for powerful relief.
During the fall and winter months, I love the aroma of warm, spicy, and woody scents. So this is the perfect oil in time for fall.
Turmeric has a beautiful aroma that’s warm, spicy, earthy and woody. I even diffuse the Turmeric oil in my home and office which really helps to promote feelings of positivity and to improve moods - good for Mom and Kids...
You can also use Turmeric as a spot treatment or in an all-over face mask to help reduce the appearance of blemishes or for a healthy-looking overall glow.
Pretty amazing right?
I hope you found this post useful and enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any questions or if you want access to this essential oil.
Love, peace and positive vibes.
