My first experience with dōTERRA clove oil was with a dry socket problem after a wisdom tooth extraction. I was in so much pain! I am allergic to Vicodin, as it makes me violently ill. I poured a couple of drops of clove oil on a cotton ball and it was a huge relief! I also put some deep blue on my jaw, which was very soothing. Later that day I found out, after I had called the dentist, that they use a chemical called 'eugenol' for dry socket. the main chemical constituent in it is clove. Light Bulb!

- For teething issues; super diluted 1 drop to 3 tablespoons coconut oil mixture, along teething gum lines. This is amazing for any soreness.
- On your joints, try clove on achey joints for a numbing and soothing treat
